Tis’ the season. I love this time of year! One of my favorite activities this time of year is Christmas markets, which is a newer activity to me in the last couple of years. Last year I was living is Boston for work and experienced Snowport. Down in the Seaport district, it is a magical Christmas European-style market experience. The market brings vendors, food and drinks, games like curling, festive bars and more. Free entry and wheelchair accessibility make it a huge draw, and timed entry tickets are offered for a fee. We went on a weeknight and walked right in with no lines and was not heavily crowded.

This market was very festive and offered so many great gift options from local vendors. One thing I bought that you truly cannot buy anywhere else was a lobster nativity scene. I mean honestly just screams Boston haha. And every holiday season reminds me of the time I lived there. We also enjoyed the cholate maker there, that had some of the most incredible shapes.

One thing I loved about this festival was that it was dog friendly. Meeko loves the attention and inclusion.

Many more areas are bringing European-style Christmas markets to their areas, which I think is great! They are so fun and festive and bring so many cool things that make great gift ideas. Or who knows you might get yourself a lobster nativity scene.
If you would like to take a trip to see the European Christmas markets, Collette now offers an amazing guided tour. If you or someone you know is interested in checking out one of these trips contact me at [email protected]
